Fingers crossed, come the 29th of March UK inland dive sites will be open again.
There will be a relaxation of Covid rules allowing divers to take part in outdoor activities, the UK government say:
“Outdoor sports facilities such as tennis and basketball courts, and open-air swimming pools, will also be allowed to reopen, and people will be able to take part in formally organised outdoor sports.”

Some key dates for your diary:
- Capernwray: Monday 29th March – and the Severntec team will be there on the day
- NDAC (National Diving and Activity Centre): Easter Weekend at the start of April (2nd)
- Stoney Cove: Monday 29th March
Severntec will be operating as normal from our premises in Shropshire for kit sales, services, fills, and scuba courses. We are now Shropshire’s only professional dive centre.
